I think Phil Jaques should be the next batsmen in line for an aussie starting position.

I reckon that they should go with Hussey at 4, Jaques 5, Clarke 6.
There’s nobody in Australian cricket that deserves a spot more than Phil Jaques and his style is that of not just an opener.
I hope they don’t go with Brad Hodge! They also may throw a spanner in the works as there are a few young blokes are just starting to throw their hand up (Cosgrove, Sean Marsh, Adam Voges)

Well done Dave to actually name Voges. Most say who the F is this C! I am prepared to say that this C is F’d. The words of the Calcutta: “The poms find it harder to get Phil Jacques out than David Hicks.” Did he bonk Merv Hughes’ sister??

If Merv Hughes has a sister he would probably deserve more than a baggy green for going there!!
