I finally won a toss & decided to let our strong batting line up cut loose on a Kingsford belter. Hooter & Choppy took the shine off the new pill with the middle of their blades setting up a strong platform for Stormin O’Neill, Tugga & in particular Higgo to capitalise on, Condom Ansell & Dave “son of Don” then played little cameos at the end to give us 255 after 45 overs.
Slippers Mills then steamed in & finished the game as a contest within his first 6 over spell. He finished with a bigger sack than Santas “& nearly as big as Waynos swollen suckers” to get 6 for 11 off 8, game over. Despite some comfy wins so far we still are dropping more catches than Phil Jacques (the reason he aint in the team everyone) & once we start clinging onto these we will be unbeatable. UP THE BAR

It’s a shame the Captain wasn’t there to witness young Chook’s final spell. I suppose the lure of walking up and down the 18th a few times with Lonard and Bisho - sorry, O’Hern, was too much of an attraction.
