The Tintenbar Under 10’s cricket team won their first game of the season on Saturday against Alstonville Blue.
Tintenbar fielded first and restricted the Alstonville side to 10/140. Good bowling from Matthew Buttenshaw 1/19, Bailey Crawford 3/27, Freeman Goldsworthy 2/2 and also some impressive fielding from Brock Kelly and Charlie Morris.
Tintenbar replied with a solid 3/189 with Max Farrant & Tim Wright top scoring with 27, Max Freer 26, Matthew Buttenshaw & Bailey Crawford 25.
The boys are showing a great deal of improvement every week and they even huddled around each other after the game and yelled ‘Up the Bar’. Well played boys, it was great to watch.
UP THE BAR

The club will be having a BBQ at Kingsford Smith Park after both First grade and second grade complete their games next Saturday 18th October. Steak and sausage sandwiches will on the BBQ and we will also cater for beers at the ground for $3 each beer, $1.50 a sausage sandwich and $2.50 for a steak sandwich.
All junior players and families are also mor than welcome to come along and meet the senior club.
